FIPS offers a paid accelerated trademark search covering all 45 Nice classes. As of 1 March 2026, a 10-business-day search costs RUB 104,000, including 22% VAT, for a word or figurative mark and RUB 208,000, including 22% VAT, for a combined mark.

After the search is completed, the applicant may petition Rospatent to use the results in examination. If the applicable requirements are met, the first substantive examination correspondence may be issued within approximately two months.

The procedure does not guarantee registration within two months: the overall timing still depends on the search results, office actions, the applicant's responses and payment of official fees.
