We helped our client achieve his business goals, ensuring smooth passage of all registration procedures and proper formalization of changes related to the trademark rights.
Background
In connection with the structural changes of the enterprise for the production of polymers products, it was necessary to transfer the exclusive right to the trademark to a new holder within a group of companies. Since the mark was the subject of a license agreement, it was also necessary to replace the contracting party and change the financial terms of the license.
Practice
We prepared an assignment deed and carried out the registration of the transfer of the trademark. We designed an additional agreement to the licensing agreement, changing the procedure and terms for the payment of royalties by the licensee, and registered with Rospatent the replacement of the licensor.
